تأمین الکتریسیته روستاهای دورافتاده که دسترسی به شبکه برق سراسری ندارند همواره چالش بزرگی بوده است. یک راه حل برای این چالش هیبریدسازی منابع تجدیدپذیر قابل دسترسی در آن منطقه روستایی برای تأمین الکتریسیته می‌باشد. در این پژوهش با توجه به موقعیت جغرافیایی منطقه مورد مطالعه و همجواری به دریای عمان و دسترسی به انرژی امواج مناسب، برای تأمین برق منطقه سه نوع سیستم جاذب انرژی امواج در شرایطی مشابه با سایر سیستم های خورشیدی، ژنراتور دیزل و باتری در نرم‌افزار هومر هیبرید شده و با مقایسه آن‌ها سیستم جاذب انرژی امواج برتر انتخاب شده است. سه نوع سیستم جاذب امواج شامل پلامیس، ویودراگون ، و آکوابوی در سیستمی شامل 4085 کیلووات سیستم فتوولتاییک، 9000 کیلووات ژنراتور دیزل و 197 باتری 100کیلووات ساعتی برای تأمین میزان بار الکتریکی مشخص با یکدیگر مقایسه شدند و نهایتاً سیستم شامل ویودراگون با هزینه تولید انرژی 0.240 دلار بر کیلووات ساعت به عنوان سیستم اقتصادی‌تر انتخاب شد.
