در این تحقیق با استفاده از نتایج 100 آزمون بارگذاری دینامیکی PDA انجام یافته در پروژه‌های مختلف، از سه نوع شبکه عصبی مصنوعی (ANN) به منظور تخمین باربری استفاده شده است. در ابتدا شبکه عصبی چند لایه پرسپترون به عنوان یکی از پرکاربردترین شبکه‌های عصبی و در ادامه از شبکه نوروفازی ترکیبی (عصبی- فازی) و در نهایت از شبکه عصبی تابع مبنای شعاعی که شبکه موفق در مسائل غیرخطی بوده استفاده شده است. مدلهای مبتنی بر شبکه‌های عصبی، برخلاف مدل‌های رفتاری مرسوم توضیحی در مورد چگونگی اثر پارامترهای ورودی بر خروجی نمی‌دهند. در این تحقیق آنالیز حساسیت بر روی ساختار بهینه مدل‌های معرفی شده در هر مرحله نیز انجام شده است. استخراج و ارایه روابط حاکم بر یک مدل شبکه عصبی به کاربر اطمینان بیشتری در تحلیل و طراحی داده و در نتیجه کاربرد آن را در کارهای مهندسی تسهیل می‌کند.
