Abstract:   (4 Views)
The navigation route in the Pacific Ocean depends on factors such as the season and weather conditions. In the Pacific Ocean, storms usually form in parts of the ocean that are in the navigation route. The occurrence of storms in the Pacific Ocean navigation routes has a significant impact on the route of vessels. In this study, the best route for crossing the Pacific Ocean width was studied by designing global climate routing software. This study showed that the best route to cross the Pacific Ocean is via the equator. If the Panama Canal is not crossed, it was shown that the best route to cross the Pacific Ocean is to enter via the Strait of Serengeti, depart along the equator, reach Easter Island, and proceed to the Strait of Magellan via the coast of Chile. This study also showed that the best time to enter the Pacific Ocean via the Strait of Serengeti is the first decade of December.
