Abstract:   (12664 Views)
In this study, NASIR program is implemented to numerically simulate the temperature field near the intake/outlet of Paresar thermal power plant and assess the environmental provisions. According to low depth of coastal regions, two-dimensional depth-average governing equations and convection and temperature diffusion relationships are considered and solved by a finite volume method in NASIR program. Coastal boundary condition, currents and out-let discharges of the power plant are considered in the modeling and the performance of the numerical method is estimated in the coastal region near the thermal power plant to assess the excess water temperature. According to the current environmental provisions, the efficiency of the intake/outlet system is evaluated.
